1.Geographical situation and character of community
Community Miedzichowo is situation in the west part of Wielkopolskie Province, Nowy Tomyśl District. It is surrounded by numerous lakes and forests. The road number 2-main east –west transport rout- goes through the community. It is also the A-2 motorway with an entrance and an exit near Nowy Tomyśl. Here the area of more than 20.000 ha is inhabited by 3800 people. The community comprises 14 parishes, the largest of which are Parish Bolewice with 1,851 inhabitants and Parish Miedzichowo with 50 inhabitants. The history of the district is connected to arising of Dutch villages. The community has started engineering works in order to extend the local technical infrastructure. In Bolewice there is a biological –chemical sew-age treatment plant and a network of sanitary collectors. The local economy is based on agriculture; wickerwork and growing asparagus are developing. The forests and the picturesque lakes are the riches of the region a true paradise for values of the our environment and landscape (The Pszczewski Scenic Park) we back the development of tourism.
2.General Economic offer An economic offer of the community is taking two direction. The areas located in the neighborhood of the A-2 motorway exit are meant for industry. In the areas surrounding the Pszczewski Scenic Park tourism infrastructure is planned to be built or extended.
3.Tourism and recreation Agrotourist farms, youth hostels, holiday centre and camp sites make up a tourist board and lodging base of the community. Agrotourist farms:

This is the best place for you and your family. Round about are forests wealthy in mushrooms and berries. We offer sitting close to the fire or grill. You can rest here all year. There is also place for your favorite cat or dog.
Danuta Sobolewska, Jabłonka Stara 46, phone (0-95) 743 10 27 Forester’s Lodge Królewiec is open all year. We offer two rooms for four person, separate kitchen and bathroom. There you can also pitch a tent and there is a place for caravan. The farm is surrounded by forest and the nearest lake is situated 30 meters away. Hosts offer hunting, walking, swimming, fishing in a pond and sitting close to the fire. There is also place for your favorite cat or dog.

You can rest here all year. We offer organize here parties and camp fire. We offer mushrooming, horsemanship, camp fire, barbecue and other attraction.
